Dr Vijay P Shewale is a highly skilled and experienced cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon with over 9 years of dedicated practice in the field. He has an impressive track record, having performed more than 1000 off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) procedures and over 750 cases of total arterial revascularization using LIMA, RIMA, and radial arteries.
Dr Shewale holds an M.Ch. in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from L.T.M.M.C., Mumbai, a D.N.B. in CVTS from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, and a D.N.B. in General Surgery from K.I.M.S., Trivandrum. His academic excellence is reflected in his consistent performance throughout his medical education.
Renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive cardiac surgery, Dr Shewale specializes in off-pump total arterial CABG and valve repair/replacement surgeries. Dr Shewale has been an Associate Professor in the Department of CVTS at L.T.M.G.H. (Sion Hospital) for over 6 years, contributing to both clinical practice and medical education. He also serves as a consultant at prominent hospitals, including Jinkushal Cardiac Care hospital ( Thane ), MGM Hospital (Vashi), SRV Mamata Hospital (Dombivli), Zynova Shalby Hospital (Ghatkopar), and SS Hospital (Thane).
